*Vanilla Cake Recipe* - 500g margarine - 2 cups castor sugar ( a cup is 250g) - 5 cups cake flour - 10 large eggs - 5 teaspoons baking powder - 2 cups butter milk (mabisi) - 1 table spoons vanilla essence *Method* - beat your castor sugar and margarine till light and fluffy. - In a separate bowl break your eggs and bit them slightly. - In a separate bowl sieve all your dry ingredients ( flour and baking powder) - Pour your eggs in the mixture of ( margarine and castor sugar) - Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence in the mixture. - get half cup butter milk and half dry ingredients put in the mixture and fold in with a cooking stick. - Add the remaining half of butter milk and dry ingredients and fold in then mix with a mixer for less than a minute . - Grease pans with butter or oil and line with baking paper or dust with flour. - Bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
